Posting this for anyone in Texas who has let their medical card expire and got the letter in the mail stating their CDL was downgraded to a class C. As long as you still have your class A and it hasn’t expired, all you need to do is fill out 2 pages of paperwork and show a valid medical card to the DMV. It’s around $40 and you’ll be reissued a new CDL using the same number as your old one. You will NOT have to retake the skills and road tests. I don’t know if there’s a time frame(how long…
