New owner torn on a new truck.
So i finally decided to just bite the bullet and buy myself a rig after 10 years of waffleing. Ive gotten all the other details worked out under the company i want to run with and with my bank and my down payments and pre approvals ready to go as well as a fat “oh crap” fund that should fix anything shy of a blown engine.
Last big question now is what truck to roll with. I am doing end dump work with most loads at 80k and a few at 85500. So i figured id poke in here and get some opinions to…
TMC health benefits administered by TMC itself?
I am hoping that folks employed with TMC and who have their benefits can chime in. I have read online that TMC benefits are administered by TMC itself, through its own benefits administrator “TMC Employee Benefits Group”, is this true?
I also read a recent post on glassdoor that said TMC actually makes money off the costs the employee pays for his or her benefits coverage, is that true as well? The person who posted this of course posted anonymously as a current employee.

Waiting on the tire guy
….. well blew a tire going to bloomfield and waiting for the tire guy …,
So long story short … tire blew on the outside , had my pry bar and took off the casing ( don’t need it flopping around ) , got to a safe area for the tire guy to do his thing and now i wait .
I always tell the new guys to be prepared , and bring food water and tools along to keep things rolling and once again , doing the Boy Scout thing saves the day .
Hope you new guys take heed and be prepared .
